Well boys and girls, the sound of racing takes off tonight with roads around the Billown Course in the south of the Island being closed this evening for the first practice session for the Blackfords Pre-T.T. Classic Road Races.

The closure is from 6.05pm until 9.35pm.

The entry is at a record level of just shy of 270 competitors for the nine race programme.

The main race day is on Monday but there are two races tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon after the final practice session.
