This would be a truly terrible idea in my opinion, first of all the TT races nowadays are wholly dependent on the weather so if the weather is poor at the weekend what happens then, also what happens on the days when there is no racing on? The great thing about the TT format the way it is is that when you go over you will see some racing, now they want to introduce a 5 day gap between race days in the hope the weekend won't be a washout?

If this happens and I really hope it doesn't the number of visitors will surely drop because everyone will be trying to get there for a race weekend for which there are a limited number of ferry crossings and flights. The demand will be insane. The thing I love about the TT is it's flexibility in that it takes place over a fortnight so the schedule can be jiggled about to suit and visiting people get to see some action regardless.
