Keith, I finally joined this forum after lurking on here for a few years just to say 'thank you' for telling your story.  I stumbled on your thread earlier and read the whole lot in one go.  You certainly get across the whole gamut of emotions you went through during your journey, and in a strange way I felt I was there with you.  Just the other day I was on Southend sea front just by the new Kursaal with my son saying how much it reminded us of Douglas.  Good luck for the future!
