The opening road race of the season saw William get out around the Orittor Road Circuit on both his Temple Golf Club Yamaha’s today (Friday).

First out was the Yamaha R1 Superbike and William seemed to be enjoying the machine, taking the time to find the best set-up for the challenging circuit.

After putting in five laps William Qualified for the second row of the grid putting him in a great place for tomorrow’s race.

Next out William mounted the Yamaha R6 and again took the time to find out what his best set up was so that he could give his best performance for the race that was to be held later in the day.

Again William qualified for the second row of the grid and was raring to go for the evening’s race.

By the time the Supersport race was due the sun was sitting low in the evening sky.

The riders went out on two warm up laps and then got the flag to get the race underway, by the time the front runners were round at Mackneys’ with William amongst them, the race was red flagged due to a race incident and a decision was taken to end racing for the day due to the sun.
