Fresh off the back of a podium last time out, the Honda Racing team arrived at the third round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park (5-7 May) with the podium firmly in their sights.

With a strong performance all weekend, Jason O’Halloran challenged for the win in the final race of the day at the Cheshire circuit, eventually crossing the line second just 0.086s from victory.

Joining the Honda team for the weekend was three-time BSB Champion Ryuichi Kiyonari, who stood in for injured Dan Linfoot. Still firmly a fans favourite, the Japanese ace helped the squad develop the BSB-spec Fireblade across the weekend.
