It is disappointing to announce that the continuing uncertainty over the Welsh authorities’ easing of the lockdown rules gives no clarity as to when motorsport events can restart, hence the Club, guided by its discussions with the Anglesey circuit, has now cancelled the race meeting planned for 22nd & 23rd May.

There are indications that the Welsh rules will be relaxed in the foreseeable future and the Welsh circuits are hoping to be able to resume bike and car racing activities from June; Wirral Hundred, therefore, will now focus on starting the Anglesey element of our season on 26th & 27th June.

In the meantime, let’s enjoy Oulton Park.
