RE: CAL & THE TT
I can't think of any more recent riders but then I don't follow MotoGP as closely as I used to.

My own thoughts on some of the earlier comments are that, yes GP riders are of course fast and very talented and demand huge respect but the TT is a very different race in every respect.
Course knowledge is everything and that takes time, 3 or 4 years?? and even then as you get quicker so things change... braking point, turn in etc.
But, with the TT there's even more to it... where are the bumps that can catch you out as you hit the brakes or peel in, which corners have a positive or negative camber, etc etc.I could go on.
I also think that to race on the most challenging circuit in the world, you have to have a love and passion for it, you have to live and breathe it, you have to want to ride the most famous course in the world.
Everyone who takes on that challenge is a hero in my book, whether they finish first or last, makes no difference.

Just my opinion and thoughts folks. I fell in love with the TT on my first visit in 1968 and I will always love it.
Take care all.
