That's an interesting read. Obviously the bad batch statement was not the end of it or the full story.

Having said that, the front treaded of Davy Todd lost a chunk too, not quite limited to the rears or the slicks then!


I hope this doesn't happen at the TT.

I realise that the Dunlop teams will have tested and set up on Dunlops, would a tyre brand swap be a major upheaval?

Dunlop cannot complain if they cannot supply suitably safe racing rubber.
