I remember seeing him at the TT during his career he rode all sorts of machines but he was best known for his BMW rides and I must say the BMW sounded fantastic his counter compatriot Helmut Dahne also rode the BMW with reasonable success they were the days when Hailwood and Agostini were winning the Senior by 5 or 6 minutes or more.
