So sad the news today of David's passing.
I was well chuffed to see him at the NW200, it
was my wish to see him there enjoying meeting
everyone as I knew he didn't have long left.
It certainly brought a tear to my eye but I'll
always remember him that day taking in the great
atmosphere of the great NW 200 paddock.
He was a pleasure to know and for all he did
for the riders.
We count our blessing we had the chance to say
good-bye and show him how much he was appreciated
to us all, not everyone has this chance, some are
taken without warning. Not that it makes it easier coz it doesn't.
He's gone to meet up with some of the greats
we've lost before him.........

I feel the same. The last conversation we had, I said see you at the TT, and he said see you there, darlin. He'll be there in spirit. Joey must have wanted him to watch from up there.
