Just Not Happening
Live timings again proving troublesome, race reports sent out only to be amended, a 'new' commentary team that sound as if they need an injection of enthusiasm and the canning of popular classes for 2005 onwards.

Well done TT organisers, yet another own goal on virtually every front...

Re: Just Not Happening
new timing system this year, has been working well up until now. i think charlie and chris are pretty good, andy mc seems a bit dull and may need a bit more enthusiasm but its his first time commentating here. otherwise the coverage is good. be thankful that you can here it!

its negative negative negative these days when talking about the TT, lets have some positive!

Re: Just Not Happening
I have to agree with The Voice, the commentary team apart from Chris Kinley sounded like they were commentating on a lawn bowls game.
So much so that I fell asleep and missed the 3rd lap!!
I dare say commentating is very hard and not a job I'd like, but if the new people want the jobs they could at least sound like they are enjoying it!

Re: Just Not Happening
Sounds ok to me, complete lack of hysteria and over the top dribble.
I would say they are all enthusiasts doing their best to pass on the info.
And don't forget, we pay nothing for it. Just like this website.

Re: Just Not Happening
What's the problem?
The commentary team are splendid.
Andy Mac is a quantum leap on Fred Clarke at Ramsey.
There always seems to be people queueing up to throw in some negative carping.

Re: Just Not Happening
I think the commentry team are ok but don't make it sound exciting enough. Fred Clarke has a bit of flair which in my opinion makes it all sound a bit more exciting
