Jason griffiths 2001 bike
I am looking for any pictures of jason Griffiths R6 which he raced for Road and track at the 2001 TT.
The bike was nuilt by V&M for road and track motorcycles.
Basically i bought this bike last year and over winter i wish to restore it to it's original colors e.t.c as supplied for the 2001 tt races.

any pictures or help any of you can offer would be greatfully received.

regards

Dave

Re: Jason griffiths 2001 bike
I saw no races on the Isle of Man during my visit in the cancelled TT fortnight 2001.

Re: Jason griffiths 2001 bike
are you all appear to be quite right it would appear it was the bike intended to be riden by jason griffiths in 2001 obviousley with foot and mouth this never took place.

thanks for all the help anyway.
I assume Road and track would have had their own colours on the bike for that year as part of the deal..

thanks all

Re: Jason griffiths 2001 bike
hi not sure if the bike raced at jurby or not that year.
I am still trying to pul everything together about the bike as i have only had it since start of the year.

I know in 2002 steve arnold raced the bike with the wirral 100 club and then the bike stayed with the wirral club but was ridden by Rob williams who i beleive one the 600 class last year on the bike.

but Rob didn't have a great deal of history about the bike.
Idealy it would be nice to be able to speak with Jason to get the bikes history together if anyone knows his e-mail it would be a big help...

regards
