ebay...just a thought
I buy lots of things (junk?) on ebay, and today I suddenly realised I was about to bid against one of the regular contributors to this bulletin board.
I don't know if this is "kosher", but, if you buy on ebay and you don't want me to bid against you, email me. thewitch@ecosse.net.
By the same token, if you are selling something I might want, tell me...not that I need any more stuff...

I don't think so. I think what Kim means is that she got 2 for Xmas! What a suspicious lot!

Re: ebay...just a thought
I thought it was a fair question.
There are an awful lot of pirates out there.
The wording of the ad didn't make it clear.

Re: ebay...just a thought
I humbly and sincerely apoligise for suggesting that you DVD was anything other than a genuine original copy from Duke.
Your advert on e-bay did however describe it as a "duplicate" and your advert did not make it clear that it was a duplicate purchase rather than a duplicate copy.
I have bought DVDs in the past and found myself watching over someones shoulder as the movie was being recorded with a camera in a cinema so I believe I was right to be cynical.

I am an e-bay regular and have made sales and purchases with some sucess in recent weeks however I have also learnt that there are a huge number of very serious scammers on there.
In all dealings on e-bay you need to be cynical to avoid the rip off artists.
I know for a fact that there are people buying new goods in Argos for a discount price and reselling on e-bay for a handsome profit.
It is a big bad world out there

Once again I apoligise and can only hope that I'm forgiven
