Woke up this morning to hear that the Mountain Road and numerous other roads around the Island had been closed, due to the bad weather. Not surprised, when I saw some of the cars coming into Douglas with snow all over them.

Horrendous weather here too. Stella and Co are at Croft in pouring rain, and I understand the North West area is suffering from flooding. East Fortune (East Scotland) has gone ahead, but conditions are awful there too. Ironically, we have had so little snow/rain here that my garden is frozen and parched...global what? Warming may be the wrong definition, but alteration is definitely happening.

Bother, had a small dust storm where I live (Saudi Arabia)and my nice clean bike got a bit dusty. It's a tough life out here you know.

Bitter cold at Oulton also but a great days racing.

Got my bike insured and MOT'd yesterday.

I think Sete Gibernau would advise you to get wet tyres...oops...cruel??
