A lady i met today told me her grandad won one or tuther name MOSS came from wem shropshire about early fifties year that is would appreciate any info cheers barnesie.

Check here there's about 7 guys called Moss who have raced at the Manx

I believe TT regular Tony Moss is from the Wem area,obviously not her Grandad,but could be related to the man in question?

Tony Moss has (or at least used to have) a bike shop in Wem - you/your friend could probably give him a call.
He was also a regular at Ty-Croes and other NW club meetings so you might catch him there.

Spoke to Tony Moss this morning. It's his father,Peter Moss that you are referring to by the sound of it. He rode the Clubmans and the MGP between 47 and 51, acccording to Tony.And of course he was from Wem.
Just like to wish Tony all the best for the TT.
