Please God
Please God will someone set up a webcam somewhere on the Mountain Course during the TT week so we less fortunate beings can at least tune in to the atmosphere. One at Ballaugh or Bray Hill or the Hairpin.
Surely it would not be too much trouble. We don't mind if you put an ad on it, we will buy your stuff, but just for once could the Isle of Man make a gesture to the outside world.

Re: Please God
I remember speaking with Malcolm about this a few years ago and live streami ng at the TT is not really allowed, although it could be done with a ' significant delay'. the reasons for this are, what if a racer is filmed on live streaming having a very serious and even an obvious fatal accident? The whole world would see it, unsavoury people would put copies on other sites and it would be potentially awful for that competitors family, or spectators family if it happens when roads are open.
Hope this helps somewhat. Also live streaming is apparently VERY expensive to set up, a web cam would be so frustrating taking a snap shot every 20 seconds or so wouldn't it? But maybe, just maybe it will be possible in the future on a pay as you go system, with a bit of a delay .
Cheers and enjoy the commentary on www.radiott.com

Re: Please God
i would and i think many fans world wide would gladly pay for some sort of streaming, even if it did have a delay, which as you've wisely pointed out would be needed,we would still feel apart of the action.

Re: Please God
There seems to be live webcam coverage from the Creg to a screen near Bushy's. I would have thought that could be broadcast, and, as far as the reason for deleay, people take pics and video with their phones these days, and spread unwelcome images instantly.
