Re: Cargo's Manx
Well Cargo summed it all up.
It was a difficult Manx and now we all have time to think how we can improve things, there is
always room for improvement and I'm sure the
work has already started.
Sorry you lost a friend Cargo, we all feel it
when another of our riders is killed, as you say
we know the risks but our love for the sport we
carry on, at times it's hard to do this when we
lose close friends, I too have been there and it's
not easy.
Now time to think about the next year and that means no beer for you Cargo !! lol

Re: Cargo's Manx
So well said, Cargo.
I hope we can look at the analysis of what went wrong for our sadly missed friends, and learn something that helps make the Manx safer for everyone. That will be our tribute to them.
I look forward to the new, sleek, svelt Cargo...how will I know you...oh, the hair.

Re: Cargo's Manx
Yes, a nice personal account, which is what it's all about.
Please follow Nick's advice. The first step is to cut down on the bacon and egg butties.

I'll eat them for you.

Re: My Manx
Ops I forgot to thank Nick Jefferies who turned up a little unexpectantly. ( I thought he would not be there when I didn't see him in the entry list)
Anyway Nick helped me with some suspension settings and more importantly he "sorted my head"

"Ir's a ****ing race Cargo the road is yours it's all wide eyes and snot now keep that throttle wire tight"

For a TT winner and former works rider Nick is a real down to earth guy who undertsands just what the Manx means to someone like me.
I know which white jacket I'll be following next year

Re: My Manx
Cargo,

You had a party and didn't invite me? =)

You know, all of this giving Colin a hard time, we would all be lost if he had nothing to rant at and we had nothing to reply to.

He breightens my otherwise dull day at work!! Thanks Colin!

Have a good day all...almost the weekend and some good racing due on TV.

Fitz.

Re: My Manx
I was waiting for Cargo to give me a hard time with his tong at the MGP just like he did with his fingers on the forum, I was going to pull him up but you dont do that to a person that already stressed out doing the racing. But this week at Killalane I might just die my hair and grow a goaty beard and become part of Cargos fan club, Green or Orange this week Cargo
