Todays (Friday) Racing
Are you ready for it ?

1015 - Lightweight & Ultra Lightweight Manx Grand Prix.

1315 - Senior Manx Grand Prix.

Local man Norman Kneen was fastest in practice at 110.71mph and surely must be well in with a shout this year, 2nd fastest was Barry Davidson with 3rd fastest James McCullagh. George Willingham sits in 4th place with Darren Burns 5th and Dean Martin in 6th.

In the Ultralightweight class we have Keith Taylor fastest with Derran Slous in 2nd and Paul Corrin in 3rd, Keep your eyes open for Gail Musson and Ellie Forrest, the former a regular on the Bulletin Boards.

In the Senior it looks as if it may be between Phil Gilder, Tommy Clucas and Liam Quinn, who were all running well, until of course Tommy retired while in 2nd place in Wednesdays race.

The Jackson brothers from Preston are also out in the race as are Paul Duckett Ian Pattinson & Dave Bell. Keep your eyes on Dean Sylvester being supported from afar by Gary Dickinson, who will no doubt have his ear to the radio throughout the race.

The weather report looks good and lets hope it stays that way for some great racing to come.

Update 1
Still looking good, the riders are starting to warm the bikes up. Geoff Cannel is just running through the riders who will be out for the race.

Now a real strange one - The memorial bench from the gooseneck has been "nicked" and the police have put out an appeal for information on its whereabouts ?????

Update 2
The bikes are on the dummy grid now with Chris Kinley diving about trying to get a word with some of the riders before they set off.

Carolyn Sells 4th in the Wednesday race is now being "pestered" by Chris but appears to be in fine form and is chatting away quite easily to him.

Lovely weather with the sun shining, and a little bit of wind.
