Weather permitting Helen, we hope to take in a few days of race week.

We're on a sailing holiday that week, sailing down from Ardrossan on the Saturday, taking in a few days of the TT before crossing to Ireland then a couple of hops back up to Oban. That's the plan anyway but as with most things nautical, it's all a bit weather permitting ! :roll:

Well, judgung by the pics at 8:30, the tent has been started.
But, isnt it grim looking, wearher wise.

Its been a strange leadup to the event this year for me.
Loads of work "issues" (how I hate that word!) and niggling health problems. Now I am on antibiotics (tooth abcess) until thursday, so no Bushys at first practice! But wont it be worth waiting for!

The fact that we are not taking the bikes seemed to be a bit disappoinint but I am glad not to have had the hassle of loading them on the trailer.

So, all in all, I think I will now allow myself the luxury of getting excited!!
So much to look forward to.

Coming off the ferry
Beuing in the cottage at Sulby again
All the usual places on the course that get the pulse going.
Being in the Sulby Glen (or home as I call it!)
The paddock.
Bushys tent.
Seeing you lot.
Meeting my old Manx mate Ralph Dawson

I thank the Lord that I am able to go again and think of those less fortunate who wont be there this year....

It is the best we can get, not as good as NW 200, but if you look carefully and listen to the commentary if there is one, you will see the bikes at the Bungalow appear in between refreshings !!

I do look at all the web cams never been in this situation since 1979 not going to TT taking a radio to work not the same though
