TT doubles?
In conversation with Bernard Codd and Charlie Williams back at the TT, they found themselves to be members of a unique club - double TT winners on the same day.
Bernard won the last two Clubman races in 1956 on BSA Gold Stars (history of the Clubman races currently being worked on), Charlie won the Formula 2 and Junior (250cc) races in 1980
Mike the Bike won Lightweight and Ultra Lightweight on the same day in 1961 - were there any other double-winners?
We are still searching for some christian names for riders, the database at: http://www.gov.im/mnh/collections/tt/ is getting more comprehensive by the week, but we still lack a number of first names, especially for Clubman TT riders, we would welcome additional information.

Chairs would count Pykey but can never recall two sidecar races on the same day . Lots of doubles where the same driver passenger combo have won both sidecar legs .
