The Country Crest Killalane road Races this Sunday is the final round of the Street Sweep 250 championship. Ulster rider Barry Davison who won the 250 Lightweight race at the Manx Grand Prix last week only needs to finish at least third from Darran Lindsay to win the 2006 Championship. Barry leads with 177 pts from Darran Lindsay (166 pts), Andrew Courtney (127 pts), John Burrows (117 pts) and William Dunlop in 113 pts.
In the 2 Stroke Racing Supporters Club 125 Championship it's very close with Robert Dunlop going into Killalane with 140 pts and Darran Lindsay on the Nibbles sponsored Honda just three points behind. Robert's son Michael is in third on 124 pts. Darran could steal the Championship with a win on Sunday.
Dunleer rider Stephen O'Brien riding the ex Davy Morgan 250 Honda has already won the 2 Stroke Club's 201 - 400 Junior Support Championship but it's very close behind with Paul Newton, RJ Woolsley and Skerries rider Gareth Costello racing for maximum points to finalise positions.
The ever successful Street Sweep Mini July Championship which held rounds at Skerries, Walderstown, Kells and Faugheen was won by Barry Davidson finishing on 69 pts, Darran Lindsay finished in second on 66 pts and joint third went to Michael Dunlop and Andrew Courtney on 49 pts each.
