i cant blame em really, they would have to travel to stranraer then drive to heysham etc, nightmare crossing for a meet at jurby?..

and its probably payback for last years fiasco when the manx team consisted of one rider?

I was told last week the Irish team where not coming here because there where no ferries on . Ok they have to go Via Stranraer , but that works both ways & in my experience going on Rugby tours etc there has been a degree of fundaraising before any event by waht ever means available.
Seems to me that the Celtic Match Races are not particularly taken serious by any of the competing federations & maybe should be rested for a while unless organised or taken seriously .
