Happy Birthday from me too, Ian. Hope it is a great celebration. As I said to my girlfriend whose birthday it was on 21st and she wasn't too happy about it, I am no longer worried about the years I'm clocking up, I'm just so damn glad I'm here to count them.
Best wishes
Jan

Congratulations on your retirement, Mike, but some tell me there is no such thing a 'extra time' once you've retired!

First met Ian in 1991, my virgin year at the TT, I must say he did a lot for me that year and has always offered his help over the years that have followed

So to you Sir, I know this is late, but have a fantastic day! and many more to come

thanks indeed
Thank you all very much for all the good wishes on my birthday..

The cake did not have candles, it had a 100 Watt light bulb.

I had my birthday in Berlin on the top of the Reichstag after a memorable trip to Colditz*, Stalagluft 3*, Nurnburg and a number of other similar WW2 spots.

http://www.beentheredunnit.com shows my latest project so please visit when you have two or three hours (It is still being written up)

To those of you who think retirement will be a rest, do not believe it !!

I think I am busier in retirement than I was in work. Now I am diversifying and doing what I want to do and see what I want to see.

I hope to see all of you next year and we'll have drink together.

And to you Shaun, thank you as well; that first year for you on the Island was a good memory for all of us to cherish and I am so pleased to have been involved and saw your progress from TT Virgin to TT Winner(s)..

I look forward to seeing more good results from you in 2007, possibly a few more wins....how is the sidecar training coming along ?

Auf Wiedersehn

Ian TTFAN

PS *I escaped OK

In 2015 I celebrate 68 years as a devoted TTFan
