Weird..don't play
Like all websites with message boards, we are constantly "invaded" by unscrupulous idiots, either trying to sell you drugs, offer you porn, or even trying to give you viruses.
We try to get them before they get as far as the board, BUT, if you read a message that isn't about bikes, just ignore it, and UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES click on a highlighted area..eg red or blue writing or a web address. You might be accessing a website you didn't want to see, and give yourself a lot of grief.
As soon as we see it we will delete it, and remove the poster.

It's becoming worse, so it seems. Personally I don't understand the reason for posting such rubbish on message boards - positive reactions will be less that 1 percent, let alone selling something Sad

I normally "wreck" a topic like that by repeating one word for about two hundred times without a space in between the words, it will make the topic extremely wide and unreadable [Image: icon_naughty.gif]

A report to the Mods added as extra bonus to the topic opener, ofcourse Smile

There are two completely different sets of people involved, and NO response at all is best in both cases.
Those who are out to cause mischief get a kick from any response at all...they have got a reaction, so DON'T feed them.
The others, the drug and porn people...well, 1% is a heck of a lot given the number of people/message boards they contact (remember it costs them notthing). Just 1 single sale justifies their time, and, if they are financial scammers (doesn't that job with Athens whatever sound like a dream??) 1 mug can make them more than we earn in a year.
So...Don't post on their threads...leave it to the moderators to have the fun of obliterating them!

I wonder how long the meetings were before they could agree that "vom" was all that would be accepted - and that other rhymes involving "spew", "s h i t e", "chunder" would probably put folk off their tea!
I am just glad that revolting ad for earwax removal has gone - it always seemed to come on as I was dipping my bread into my brown gravy......

To be honest, people who do that will have quite a few nick names made up at the forum anyway. They never respond to their own topic, they just post the message and give up on the nick name - only to use another one next time. To me it's just proof that people are still walking around on this planet with nothing better to do than going through a lot of hassle and disturb a forum's piece...

But, okay. I won't wreck a carefully placed spam-topic by making it unreadable, but notify you instead. No probs Smile
