Street Party
Could anyone explain the point in having the so called street party? as far as i can see its only an excuse for some off the local yobs to kick off as was proved this year. Surely the money could have been better spent on improving the Paddock Hotel and looking after the riders after all they come here to entertain us not the clowns on the prom.

Re: Street Party
Some of the entertainment was so pretentious and pointless, wasn't it? The Purple Helmets were the only thing really woth seeing, and they could be seen somewhere else without the huge disruption caused by the street party. Interesting to watch the police yob-watching from the Royal bank building...they were funnier than the floorshow!

that stilt thing
My official escort dragged me down to see it. "It's great!" she enthused. I couldn't stop laughing because it was so stupid. All the toddling around with inflatable guitars. She didn't like that one little bit and said I didn't appreciate art and was a git from the sticks(true) and it's just what the TT needs.
I've been to 2 Guggenheim museums and I know an arty con when I see it.
