Just back after our most enjoyable trip.
This was ment to be simple "celebrate my retirement" trip
The fact that the TT Press Launch was on made the weekend.
Mind you, seeing friends old and new was fun as wel!
Thank you so much Fitz (and lovely lady) for geting us there and bac and allowing me to hav a drink or two.
Make no mistake, this was a special and very professional eveing.
What a way to get the ball rolling.
The riders that were there made themselves so available.
Walkingout at the end chatting to John McGuiness summed it up.
The video put together by Greenlight was mind blowing.
Ask anyone who witnessed it.
I am not ashamed to say that it left me feeling very emotional.
This has to be a step forward for the TT and I feel will become a
fixture.
Now, one of the people that we met and chatted to was James Moore.
We had a good cin wag on the night and then bumped into him in the departure lounge at Ronaldsway.
The man is hooked.
He could not speak more highly of the Manx people and racers that he
met on his brief visit.
I think he did 4 laps in a car and is already working out the more tricky
sections.
He highlighted Kerrowmoar as oine to stdy!
A real concidence here!
His girfriend is called Kerra and with his name being Moore, he
thinks of the section as Kerra Moore!
We really too to the man and told hime about TTwebsite and that he would be made welcome if he logs in from Oregon.

So, did we have a good time?
What do you think??

Oh, I forgot to mention.
Paul Phillips was a star of the evening and handled himself especially well.

Thanks for the report, and the veiled enthusiasm!! If James Moore is anything like as nice as his team mate Ian, he'll be a lovely man.
Looking forward very much to the TT.

Thanks again Fitz.

It was a shame you were not well.
But it did give us a chance to see my old mate Ralph Dawson of kenilworth fame and a workmate of Mr hogg.

Yes, and we will have two whole weeks to get round everyone!

Wasnt it amazng that I was at Ronaldsway and had a newcomer call me over!

Only 16 weeks to go
