Scottish members may remember Tam Broon (the man fae Troon) who was a sidecar passenger and, after an operation made this unwise, one of the little band of photographers who covered the Scottish races in the 1980s.
Tam was a fireman, and, sadly, he had a heart attack while fighting a fire in Irvine last week. He later died in hospital. Tam was only 53 and will be sadly missed by his daughters, step daughters, and partner.
He'll also be missed by many in the football and motorcycling world.

That is a shock.
