My verdict? "Better than nowt", at least for part 1 of the 100 Best. Shame about the number of basic stupid errors - talking about the Honda 250 6-cyl, then showing lots of folk on 125 twins......"the first 50cc race" with great film of...a G50, a Manx;.... credit given in the high numbers to Robert Dunlop for the first 100mph lap, then later to Bill Ivy for the same feat. At times it became the Steve Hislop show, with several credits to him for basically the same achievements.
Errors on live telly are understandable - this many mistakes in a programme that could have had months to put together are a little less forgiveable!

Yeah, exactly Peter, and Im still completely mystified as to how Milky's crash qualified as one of the "100 Greatest TT Moments"

At no 88, 1996, "Joey wins 125 race in fog". Wouldnt happen nowadays, would it. I wonder what he would make of it all now :?:

I agree Ammo, although the commentary did say not one of thgreatest moments but one of the scariest.Still lucky for Milky, he has managed to keep himself on the limelight for being a crasher.

Give the people of ITV4 credit, if it wasn't for them what coverage would you have.... absolutely none.... well done ITV4 keep it up with coverage of the Southern 100 maybe..... or all of the Irish races please.....
When people say one thing and mean another its called politics, when organisers say one thing and mean another its called a mistake, when the ACU say one thing and mean another its called information.

I think the itv4 coverage is brilliant. Think back just a year or two ago, if someone said you'd get the TT races on yer telly the same night, we'd have missed it cos we'd still be tossing ourselves off in the little boys room. Its fantastic to see it so quick and for someone who can't be there its great to see how the riders are coping with the new Brandish corner. I saw the new cormer in December when I was oer but to see them racing it is great.
Well done itv4!!! Game on!!!
Russ
Meanwhile back on planet earth..........
