I think you have taken a very large TT pill there FC.
There is one thing you carn't run away from FC and that is that that all the prices over here go up for TT. It has and will always be a time of cashing in. Alot of people make the money TT week that supports their firms for the rest of the year, that some of this cash may also go into a bit of paint work for their house or shop.......
But things have changed massively for this year and so they should, its a celcebration of the TT, but it should have been a celebration of the races and not the rip off attitude that seems to more prevelent this year. WOnder how many are going to be here next year?
When people say one thing and mean another its called politics, when organisers say one thing and mean another its called a mistake, when the ACU say one thing and mean another its called information.

Spoke to one of the food vendors today, and he explained that some of the food stalls had put the prices up due to a ByeLaw that says that food cannot be sold on the prom after midnight, this ByeLaw is being enforced by off Island Police. He also explained that most of the vendors make their money when the pubs shut and not being able to sell after midnight and having to pay the rents that are twice as much as last year, has left them with no choice other than to put prices uf to cover expences.
