Yes, I would like to thank the managing director of the Steam Packet Company, and Laura Howland and Lisa, for sorting things out for my friend who looked as if he was not going to be able to get across for the MGP. It was a big ask, and they came up trumps arranging things with no fuss.

We tend to complain at trivial problems which are generally sorted out given time....
I was one who was unhappy with the ticket changes etc this year at TT time.
But if you keep your cool, keep your temper, treat these people like you would treat yourself and realise the pressure these people are under in just two weeks duration, one has to totally agree with the above so I also thank the IOMSPC staff for getting me off the Island with little or no hassle.. I did chew my nails a bit for a couple of days but Laura and of course the witch were so very helpful in my jour de need ( yes jour)
