I will be at the Ulster with the Joey Dunlop Foundation... don't forget to come and find Suzanne and myself and buy your winning raffle ticket for the Honda Jazz car!

All welcome as long as they buy a raffle ticket!
I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Missing the first MGP practice, but all in a good cause, and can't be in two places at once. See you on the Island if not at the Prix... when you get here?

I'll be on the Joey Dunlop Foundation stall with Suzanne on Friday and Saturday, and going back on the boat on Suday... come and see us!
I'll harrass you to buy a raffle ticket, but you could win a car (you can always sell it and buy a bike),. If we have not met before you will be treated to my confused expression as I frantically try to think who the heck you are!

All sorted now, flight, car park, hire car, butties, can of pop, bring it on!

Seriously though I've room for one or two from the airport to the circuit, we've bitten the bullet and hired a car for the day. We're on the 0755 from Liverpool. alf

ade, Yes I know, I'm well used to NI precipitation I've just about dried out after 2004 even though race day was fine I sank up to my knees in a bog @ Flowbog (wonder why it's called that). I don't care anyway it's gonna be a great day. Farquar in the 600, Martin Superbike, Anstey in Superstock. Have a good day. alf

Will there be any TV coverage?
If not live, a review will do!

Having been taken round the circuit recently by Cargo
(thanks SO much buddy!) I am even more interested to see
some racing.

Not that I'm able to see it myself I believe that BBC NI show highlights soon after and Men and Motors usually have a programme the week following.

The Ulster is pure magic, a superb course and with the safety improvements each year it's getting better. I'm not suprised the lap record went today it's so fast. Watch Guy Martin go on Saturday he's really got the measure of the track, 5 consecutive wins is it now?

MV, Andover Hants, my brother, resident of Salisbury, is travelling up tomorrow to join me in Ulster on Sat. Sorry if that makes you feel sad but you guys will have to organise a charra' next year. alf

Cheers alf.

Yes, I will check out BBC NI on satellite.

So your bruv lives in Sarum, eh?
What is his chosen route out of curiosity?

I have Cargo to thank for MY trip to NI and for showing me those amazing circuits.
He drove me around half a dozen road circuits including Dundrod and Tandragee.
I woud probably never have see any of them but for Mr Carr.
Thanks mate

Our travel plans have never been the same year on year. L'Pool - Belfast via ferry, Stranraer - Belfast via HSS and this year courtesy of easyjet out of Liverpool at 7 am. I don't think we've done it cheaper than easyjet though.

My retirement (early that is) plan includes a mid- Antrim/UGP holiday, maybe next year on top of all the other usual events TT, S100 etc. I've never been to the NW so that might appear on the list as well. We've done a similar "ride the circuits" trip, we tried to do as many in one day but the best bit was the Antrim coast road. Absolutely fantastic piece of tarmac. NI jewel in the crown. alf
