Lucky ol' you Helen, the mountain course on your doorstep. Since going to the MGP this year, that's the one for me. Descisions, descisions !

Booked my ferry for 23/8 '08 and will just have to be patient.

Only 200 days to go, I'll get packed! There's nothing like being prepared. Count me + 1 for the bus. alf

im glad im not the only one whos itching to get back over there were all booked up and rearing to go again...been a few times now bloody love it

im tempted to head over there in the turbo beast in the new year for a quick fix instead of going to the nurburgring

If you fancy a trip over in the winter, let me know. There are things on... not always bike, and the place is lovely when there are less people here. There is the TT launch, which I think falls in February, too.

If you can get across for the TT launch in Feb, you should.
We went this year and thoroughly enjoyed it.
You wont get a better chance to get close to the stars.
Its also a great time to see the Island in peace.
We flew and hired a car......no Steam Packet involved!

If you go and stay over, there are some hotels close to the Villa Marina.

I actually "want" to take my car over there :twisted: have a bit of fun in it...was planning on going to the nurburgring in feb/march but now ive got this trip in mind instead should be a hoot

if we do go, we will stay at the Empress...we've stayed there a couple of times,its a very nice hotel....just bloody pricey in TT week,hence TT2008 we are homestaying it!

I will keep an eye out and let you know.
