21 years on the mountain MGP & TT most races in one week I think was seven in the Jubilee TT best place 5th most dissapapointing not finishing third when Barry Sheen gave me third place on a plate in the 71 125 and I retired on the last lap and not winning the 75 ten lap 500 production class with Ian Richards when we got wandering sparks on the last lap at Guthries.

OKey dokey, my head is sore but I think this might be right, and as for Fitzy and his Church Bends thing, lets be honest Fitzy the zipper broke on your leathers lol must have put on a few pounds in the pubs during the week I think Cargo suffered the same thing a while back ... guess its not just you Fitzy, but we did have fun way back at the start didn't we matey.

Started racing way back in the early 80's as a sidecar driver but thought that passengering looked more fun so started that instead. Forced to jack it all in through injury and the onset of a spinal disease. Raced all over as below and I must say met loads of great people some of whom are no longer with us, but will always be remembered by me as being apart of the life I loved.

Count me in on this one.... forgot all about that..... Fastest lap i think was about 35 mph average, shortest and slowest road race in the world......

Now there is another challenge.... are there any slower?

The Ramsey circuit used part of the Mooragh Promenade and round the back of the (ex) hotels, now apartments that were part of the Internment camp in WWII. I recall they had scooters racing there too.
Slowest circuit may have been the one in Wales, can't think of its real name but it was called something like 'Ruddy women'. Eric Cheers used to gear his bike to be first off the line and kept his elbows out and the rest behind (his quote of many years ago).
