Does anybody know the dates for next years NW200.

Reference Irish dates for 2003 there is a provisional list of dates floating about but for the moment they are unofficial and will not be ratified until later this year. However the organisers of the NW 200 have often published their date before the meeting to ratify the dates and I believe that the 2003 NW 200 is hoped for a week earlier than normal Race day 10 May 2003.

I will not be popular with my reference to publishing a date before the official ratification but unfortunately it is true and then we argue further about rules. EITHER WE ALL AGREE TO THE RULES OR FORGET THEM. If a club or clubs feel that the official ratification is too late they have the option in a democratic society to change these rules.

I personally believe that the ratification date is much too late and have camaigned on this site to get our house in order. I have also mentioned that the 4 wheel brigade have their dates ratified before June and can get in for circuit bookings etc.

Derick to move the NW200 back a weel will cause some problems foe the manx competitors as the sailings to Ireland will not have started on the proposed dates.
