Following the recent Press Release ACU Events Ltd make the following clarification to Sidecar Regulations for the TT 2008:

The wording of Paragraph 6 of Appendix B of the TT Supplementary Regulations is correct. Please ignore the diagrams on Page 42 of those Regulations as the diagrams imply that the passenger platform must be fitted in one way only.

The passenger Platform must be 300mm x 800mm measured 150mm above the Platform. The orientation of the Platform is free.

Pre-inspection of Sidecars is still required and should be carried out as soon as possible.
