Thanks for a great Early Morning Tour
Some pics and a simple rejoinder to show my appreciation for the chance to simulate my favourite era. Unlike some of you I was up at the grandstand at 4.30 AM as I said I would be and just watched the dawn break.. No pretty colours since there was cloud cover, but what a lovely time of day with the smell of wild garlic drifting gently on the breeze (waxing lyrical as only a Geordie can). Its pity there weren't more of us but we enjoyed it (The damned cones got in the way though)

Roy and Dave were the Morecambe and Heysham (or was it Wise) and Helen and Cargo worked hard to keep us in line. No body searches this year !

The Coach driver who stayed on the road at all times !!

Final thanks to Malcolm, pity you couldn't make it.

And now for a soak in the bath and a kip.......

I'd like to echo those sentiments and add my thanks to all involved.

It was also great to be able to meet people and put faces to the familiar names from the forum.

Thank you Helen and Cargo for all your hard work in organising the trip; thanks to our "Guides" especially as they're rather busy at the moment, and finally best wishes to Malcolm and anyone else who couldn't make it this time.

See you next year, fellas!

Boakesey

We only attended breakfast, and good it was too.It would have been difficult in the wheelchair on the bus,so we did a lap in the car.Sorry I missed Ian,but caught up with MV at last.We had to eat brekky before it was cold,so we missed some of you. Thanks Helen,Cargo,Malcom, That is the way to spend the TT.smilieYahoo

Many thanks to all involved for a superb trip, good company, good food, good craik - lets fill the bus next year!
Put me and Pat down for two!
Roy and Dave are living proof that Sidecarring is not easy - I cut a Cortina in half on my only attempt on three wheels!

Passed a lot of bikers on the mountain this morning Shaun, in a little Ford Focus Auto. They didn't know where they were off! They wouldn't have been happy if they had seen the lady, one legged driver.I'm still a hooliganYahoo

I've just got this mental picture of Hanksy & Wellsy side by side with Shaun & Hilary (or would it be Hilary & Shaun?) down the Sulby straight.....

Don't tempt me,Shaun.Does this mean you WILL come across next year?
Maybe Helen will donate some fast broomsticks for us to race
