5 Years today since we lost Steve Hislop in a helicopter crash.



This informal picture, taken in Steve's house by his friend Ian Huntly, is one of my favourites.

We'll NEVER see his like again Helen..... the 'Flyin Haggis' ... the MAN!

I was at the launch of his book "Hizzy" and I was "introduced" to Steve by his publisher Rachel.

Steves answer was " Oh, I've known Ian for Years! " (Years sounding like ears) and him saying it has stayed in my memory as a sound byte so much that I can still hear him saying it.

I was pleased and privileged to be a close friend.
