Photos wanted of little Ducati 649
As anyone got any photos of my Ducati 649. All the trouble I went to, to paint it in Mike Hailwood colours and then have no photos of it. It was number 70 in the ultra lightweight.

For me that 649 Ducati was the most technicaly interesting bike at the Manx.
Just the sort of bike that racing on the TT course should be about.

Sadly excluded from the TT but very welcome at the Manx.

Good luck with it and hope to see you AND the bike back next year

Many thanks for your kind words. It was lovely to have a bike that so many people found interesting and thought was well put together. It makes all the hours spent on getting there, worth while.
I just wish that I would of been able to make the race, and see people eat there words, who said that it would not work.
I am hoping to keep it but was given notice on my job when I arrived back in the UK so it may have to be sold.
If this is the case, someone will be getting a very special bike.

I'm sorry to hear about the job thing. I don't usually do freebies but if you let me have an e-mail address that accepts fairly large file sizes, I'll send something over.

And I echo Cargo's sentiments. Just the sort of thing I want to see racing at the Manx.

I would love to see a photo myself or a few tech details, I have a fair bit of 'previous' with Dukes myself.

Hi Andy

Nice to see a Duke out there!

Some pics I found:
http://www.iomguide.com/races/database/r...vent_id=12

Need to see something a little different to the GXRs and CBRs. The Ultralightweight class is great... especially that now a rider can do 2 races in a day. I hope this will boost the entries for the class and we'll see some different machinery out there.
Good news on the Post-Classic class too.

Ciao

Paul
