Linsdell looks for support for 2009

21 year old Olie Linsdell is still looking at options for the 2009 racing season, and at this present time has no affordable offer on the table for next year.

The sensational 2007 Manx Grand Prix double winner had a successful season riding with Team Black-Horse Yamaha this year, under the expert guidance of road race legend Ian Lougher. Olie took a second win and new lap record at the North West 200, as well as a win and lap record, previously held by Conor Cummins, on his debut at the Ulster Grand Prix. He also registered strong finishes and a silver replica in the super competitive Supersport class at the TT. He continues to show his potential on the roads, and is hungry to make another leap forward next year.

His performances and determination in the hotly contested Metzeler National 600 Superstock at BSB was also impressive. In what was arguably the most competitive and closest racing within BSB paddock, Olie overcame an early season injury and a tough start to the year, to post a solid last five rounds and be in contention for a podium at the final round at Brands Hatch. Olie finished 15th out of over 60 riders and if he can start next year as he ended 2008 then who knows…

As always funding is a serious issue, with support being hard to find in the current climate.

Olie would ideally like to compete once again in the BSB Metzeler Superstock 600 championship, the three International Road Races and a few other selected events, but will be pleased to consider all other offers or proposals; However he desperately needs additional backing to make it to the grid in 2009.

Olie is a young man who is fast becoming a very versatile and confident rider, who never stops improving and has a great desire to succeed no matter what. If you would like to be part of the team and can offer ANY support Olie is interested in speaking to all interested parties. Just contact him by E-mail at olie@olielinsdellracing.com or via the ‘contact’ section on his website – http://www.olielinsdellracing.com
