Please tel us how will Mick Grant qualify to ride a bike at this years TT in a race not a parade. Will he be granted special status, something not afforded to regular riders at the TT ( Shaun Harris).

Indeed George, how can we ever forget the gross injustice handed down to Shaun some years back.
However you can't expect anyone in a position of authority to stick their neck out on that question at the risk of ending up a laughing stock.
Everyone knows Mick could do it riding backwards at those speeds.

Maybe so if he kept his eye on the road but how will he get over the ACUs strict regulation mountain licence, or is it one rule for most and not the other. Very suprised that no one from the Managment of Motor Sport or the ACU has replied to the question , maybe its a bit close to the truth.
