One of our forum regulars DClucie is in hospital just now recovering from a major operation.

So glad everything went well on Friday, " The pain you are going through will be worth it in the end". Keep your chin up and hope the next op goes as well. Your Dad might get there this week I think I have programmed sat nav correctly. ( Only joking Willy).
Don't be giving the nurse's the run around either they can be lethal with the needles if they have to be. Ha ha

Dave was up on his feet yesterday for the first time since op and managed a few steps.
He has promised me that he will do as he is told with regard to physio.
I hope he's back on the IOM soon so I can visit nex tweek and check up on him

Only just heard about this.Get well soon Clucie,we need you on here! Do the physio,I know all about it,it's very important!

Have sent Dave all your best wishes,so it should give him a smile when he reads them all.Going over to see him on Friday so will let you know how he is when we come back on Monday.Got a text from him earlier this morning and he is feeling a lot better.

Many thanks for all your words of support. I am still taking it easy at the moment but have got rid of the zimmer and now on crutches. Will be on them fo a while so may not get around as much as i would like. I will try to make it to the Pre TT and see where I can go from there. The two new hips are doing fine just feel a little weird. They did both in the same op and it was a little funny that Phsio kept saying use your good leg first. Problem was I didn't have a good leg. lol

Anyway thank you all so so much for you kind words it has helped me through the tough times.
