Can anyone suggest a way to identify bikes by their registration number? It appears that they are Fife registered. I have tried one or two 'Owners Clubs' but it seems that they seek 'search fees'.
Whatever happened to those motorcyclists who were genuinely interested?
I've got quite a few shots of mostly Pre War (the 1914-18 one!) bikes which I'm only guessing at as regards make and model, and need to get the right info together for The Book.
Perhaps someone localish (Kirkcaldy, Fife)would be willing to have a look? Vintage Club members would be ideal, but do they "surf the net"?

I'm not sure if your talking about vehicle registration numbers ie. number plates as issued by the local vehicle licensing centres or something else, if so this site might be of some help:

I tried the website suggested with mixed fortune!
Part one opened great, but the download bit requires someone with much more savvy than I to read it!
