And after such a long wait today, the slideys get away with Nicky Crowe and Mark Cox heading off towards Bray Hill.

They are followed by Moly and Dan Sayle, and after them it is Tim Reeves and Patrick Farrance.

Next goes John Holden and Andrew Winkle followed by Simon Neary with Stuart Bond (no Klaffi due to injury sustained in last race)

Next is Phil Dongworth and Gary Partridge followed by the Birchall boys.

Then off goes Roy Hanks and Dave Wells.

Next is Reeves with Holden closing in on him.

Then comes Dongworth on the tail of Neary

Next it is the Birchall boys, followed closely by Roy Hanks and Harrison really close behind,

This really puts the cat among the pigeons regarding tonights racing.

Fire engines have been dispatched from Ramsey.

How long will it take to attend to the stricken sidecar unit and clear the road ? This could mean no more racing tonight and also no planned practice either.

Now how will the Norton qualify for Fridays Senior ?

Will they run the Sidecar 2 race tomorrow ?

Will they allow extended practice tomorrow ?

Can they run Sidecar Race 2 and Practice on Friday and hold the TTXGP and Senior over until Saturday ?

Whatever the decided upon option is, it is somewhat immaterial and the safety of the stricken outfits crew must be more important. We hope that they are safe and well after what must have been quite a horrific experience.

Still no decision regarding Sidecar Race 2 as to whether it will continue tonight or not.



Both Nicky and Mark have been air lifted to Nobles hospital.

sure i have heard some where the norton will not be taking any further part in the t.t this year.

It has just been announced that the Sidecar Race has been abandoned.

No race tonight, tomorrow or any other day during this TT.

Tonights planned practice has been cancelled.
