Roger Hurst - 250 Yam
Does anyone know Roger Hurst who is racing a Jim Lee Yam TD1c in the MGP this year or does anyone have a piccy of the bike?
Im trying to trace an ex-Jim lee framed TD1C which my father owned/raced in the 80's

Hi Bill, I believe thats a TR3 because of the square fined barrels.
The TD1C which my dad had the following items on
metal profile forks, farhon drum front brake, TD1c rear brake, TD1c engine, the distinctive tank following the lines of the original 1c tank but with a different bottom designed to fit the twin top tube frame. Also it had a box under the tank with twin fuel taps.
When he sold the bike it had a black frame, white tank and seat (red stripe) and the fairing was a TD2 in yellow with a red stripe. The swinging arm was also chromed.

That looks like a TR2B that Granty is on, they had the cooling fins on the head slanted outwards towards the front as seen in the pic, I think the TR3 had straight fins, how sad am I lol

Paul Coward has a Jim Lee framed TD1C. I don't know it's history though.
