Monday - Race Day 1 - Cancelled
Monday 31 August Schedule
The roads will close at at 09.30 and will re-open again no later than 21:00. If there is a delayed start, the crossing points will be open between 17:00 and 18:00.

Race 1a ‑ Newcomers Race (4 laps) in 2 capacity classes run concurrently
1b – The Post Classic Race (4 laps)

Race 2 ‑ The Junior/Lightweight Classic Race (4 laps) in 2 capacity classes run concurrently
At ther conclusion of the above races, there will be a practice session and the VMCC parade.

Monday 31st August
The Clerk of the Course has announced that the first day of racing of the 2009 Manx Grand Prix, Monday 31st August has been cancelled due to the prevailing weather conditions and forecast for day, strong winds, low cloud and heavy rain.
It is hoped to run today's races, Newcomers, Post Classic and Junior / Lightweight Classic on Tuesday 1st September with roads closing at 11.30am
