I know what it was, I have photo evidence to prove it. I think I know where it is, about two doors down from me, but I will leave Nick to fill in the details.

Haven't seen R.R. out on it for a while, but it's not really biking weather at the moment - more brass monkey weather!

[

Ah ha! The present owner of the bike is staying with me next week. The bike is/was a 1985 K100RS, which came to me through BMW as a standard bike. We did a little work on it, including trying different gearing (changed axle ratios)and a Nivomat rear shocker.
It ran fairly well, but never faster than 137mph flat out.
I finished 7th, less than a second behind Dave Leach on a Kawasaki.
Handling was interesting to say the least, but I have ridden some pretty ill handling bikes around the TT course.
Anything else you need to know? No I can't guess what you're up to!!

hi nick cheers for the info.

post classic manx g.p is what i,am thinking about. just waiting to hear from jeff about the finer points on the regs then the hunt is on for some thing interesting to ride thought a bmw may be interesting to ride depending on the regs of course other options gpz 900 or fz750 or the gsxr came out in 1985 think the post classic is going to open the flood gates to some very interesting machinery.

cheers andy.
