My best memory of yer maun is when I was at an IOM stamp launch in the press office and Joey and Davy Wood stood next to me.
One of those occasions presented itself when my pal grabbed my camera and took the pic, which now appears halfway down this dedication written just after Joey lost his life....
I'm very glad I was able to get this pic which has now been featured in a number of magazines...plus the fact Davy is on it as well...
Well said Ian, it is the morning of the 2 July here now, remembering Joey. My first news of his passing was during a visit to a USA RC51 Honda website, I truly thought they were joking. A quick google confirmed the Estonia facts, this after Joey's huge TT2000, ironically his last TT race featured the SP1/RC51.
I never witnessed Joey race, however I have been delighted to meet Linda at Joey's Pub and we attended the Joey Dunlop House opening all great stuff. All we can do now is to remember.....
