Ulster Grand Prix Coverage.
I was absolutely enthralled by the internet coverage of the racing with all the helicopter shots......It was like Marmite, you either loved it or hated it. To my football orientated son it was like watching insects running around in the garden but to me it was an excellent way of seeing the speed differences, the tactics, overtaking, braking, acceleration and the lines used by each rider. I have since watched and recorded the NI BBC TV version which tended to be more at ground level. I am used to ground level racing so was very impressed with the aerial views which showed precisely the distance between each rider at any time during the races rather than watching them go past in a blur.

It was also preferable to the on bike cameras was it not ???

And Bruce Anstey won the big one and upped the lap record............There's life in the old dog yet !!!
