i am looking for info about a rider from new zealand from 1961 who was involved in an accident who either lost or badly damaged their arm this is all i know any info on this matter would be appreciated no matter how small the reason i am asking this is because i found out recently that this person is possibly my father thank you

Hi could it of been 1962 a rider fron NZ is listed Colin Thomas Meehan as having died

thank you for your reply it was definately 1961 around july,august,september i was born end of may 1962 he possibly had a star on his leathers or on his vest. once again thank you

Could it have been John Farnsworth ? only 3 NZ riders that year

i don't know, was he involved in an accident.i checked his name on google and managed to find a picture of john farnsworth but no more info, thank you

The Isle of Man TT newspaper reports for 1961 list only the following New Zealand riders as Hugh Anderson the works Suzuki rider and P.G.R. Pawson from Hamilton, New Zealand.
