MGP Practice
Can anyone speculate on the practice sessions at the MGP, we will be bringing 6 newcomer's from Europe to the MGP in 2012, they will all have 600s but are also wanting to race in the super twins. Can they practice out of session to get enough qualifying laps in if they bring the super twins with them ???.

Complete waste of time speculating.

You live there - ask the MMMC !

Were the Supertwins not allowed out in either session anyway? Shouldn't be a problem, plenty have done it with classics and 400's etc in recent years as newcomers Smile

Friend of mine had three bikes this year, all scheduled for the same practice session. His request to practice with the other session wa denied. He qualified two of the three bikes.

RE: MGP Practice
Coming all the way from Europe and not knowing if you will get enough practice laps to qualify could work out expensive, plus the cost of the entries would be lost. One of our riders has a 600, super twin and a 400 all of which he would like to race at the MGP. I know a lot has to do with the weather and unforeseen problems but it may be time to take a look at what if anything can be done to help not just these riders but others with the same issues,

Jim Hunter and his ambassadors have done excellent work over the last two years and I know the Hailwood Foundation encourages all newcomers especially overseas riders. The Manx club will do their best to assist newcomers, therefore give Jim or Caroline a call.
Keep up the good work !!!!!
